Latest Changelog
Newsletter Core 9.5.3
Release-note summary from the official changelog.
- The core plugin adds upgrade-process logging and administrator warnings where needed.
Download details: Newsletter core is updated to 9.5.3. The separate Automated Newsletters add-on remains 5.0.0; the headline continues to use the core version as requested.
What This Update Means
This is a small diagnostic update rather than a new campaign-building release. Upgrade logging should make installation problems easier to investigate. Administrator warnings provide another signal when an update needs attention. The published entry does not announce a new sending feature or a new security fix. Successful installation should therefore be checked separately from campaign delivery. Existing subscriber and sending workflows still deserve a brief post-update test. The Automated add-on has its own version and is not upgraded by this core change. Keeping 9.5.3 in the headline makes that core version clear without conflating the components.
The Newsletter Plugin makes an important distinction in its guidance on post notifications: an Automated channel checks for new content on a schedule; it does not necessarily send an email at the instant a post is published. That detail can determine whether subscribers receive a useful digest or several messages during a busy publishing session.
The developer describes an hourly channel that creates a message when fresh content is found. It can also delay another newsletter while a delivery is still running. Publishing several posts close together can therefore be handled differently from publishing one article at a time throughout the day.
The channel is the editorial unit
According to the Automated documentation, channels can run hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, and can select content by post type and category. Separate channels make it possible to distinguish a weekly roundup from a topic-specific update rather than send every subscriber the same feed.
The add-on can use posts, products, events and other custom post types. Its dynamic blocks are refreshed when a newsletter is generated. WPML and Polylang support also allows content and audience language to be coordinated, provided the channel is configured consistently.
For an editor, the first question is not how often the system can send. It is what the reader expects to receive. A weekly digest should have a predictable subject, a sensible content limit and a useful empty-state policy when nothing relevant has been published.
Test without mailing the real list
Review one generated message with several posts and another with no qualifying content. Check headings, image links and the destination of each article. On staging, use a test-only audience and disable any copied production sending configuration before activating an automated schedule.
Newsletter Premium download details
This selection contains Newsletter free core 9.5.3 and the separate Automated Newsletters 5.0.0 premium add-on. The versions follow GPLHub’s current product and download labels. It is not the entire premium add-on catalogue, and the two version numbers do not describe competing editions of a single plugin.
The word nulled should not be mistaken for an official subscription, delivery service or assurance about an archive’s origin. SMTP delivery and vendor account benefits remain separate from these plugin files.
